Tilapia is fast becoming one of America's most popular types of fish. And it's easy to see why. Tilapia is a mild fish that can be prepared in dozens of different ways.
In this incredibly easy Cajun-spiced tilapia recipe, the fish is rubbed with a store-bought Cajun seasoning, then sauteed in a little butter or margarine, and topped with salsa. You can use your own homemade tomato salsa or cucumber tomato salsa, or your favorite store-bought salsa.
If you are planning to use a store-bought salsa, get a mild one, as the salsa is the cooling agent in this tilapia fish dish.
